Elgar’s Cello Concerto

Ben Gernon’s programme will create an unforgettable atmosphere in Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony at our season’s opener.  Elgar’s nostalgic and hugely popular Cello Concerto played by the charismatic Andrei Ionita will bring all his poetry and passion to the music. Mozart never actually named his magnificent final symphony after the King of Gods….but you can hear why everyone else did!
